Campus
Orchestra
A WMU student organization built to give a creative outlet for non-music majors, community members, and faculty in the Kalamazoo area.
Who We Are
Campus Orchestra is a registered student organization at Western Michigan University that was established in 2026. The ensemble was born out of a need that I brought up to WMU faculty about needing a non-music major orchestral group. I then decided that this was an idea that could give the WMU students hands-on learning abilities, and so the board was born and the group first met in September 2026!
Campus Orchestra strives to create a welcoming community for all orchestral performers at WMU, no matter the skill level. It is built to meet students where they are at and provide resources to help students grow. This group of students are incredibly driven and passionate about performing and improving the entire ensemble.
